Why I started New England Home Advisor
A More Practical, Personal Approach to Bathroom Safety
I kept seeing homeowners who wanted to make bathing safer but were being presented with large, expensive remodeling packages. Many did not need an entirely new bathroom. They needed someone to listen carefully, understand what had become difficult, and explain the right-sized options.
My background in customer service taught me that trust begins with clear communication. Today, I bring that same approach to bathroom accessibility: look at how the space is actually used, identify the changes that could make the greatest difference, and give the homeowner straightforward recommendations they can consider without pressure.
That may mean a lower tub entrance, properly placed grab bars, comfortable shower seating, better traction, reachable controls, a tub-to-shower conversion, or a phased plan for future needs.
